Ethos of Engagement has partnered on a volunteer basis with F2F on projects taking place in Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua.
Date: 2009
Partner: Partners of the Americas
Local Partners: ADESJO, Sur Futuro
ADESJO and Sur Futuro have accomplished amazing things in the communities they support. Both organizations have established community development projects in rural impoverished areas and improved the lives of the community members as a result.
EoE, through a series of interviews and activities, was able to provide an extensive observational report and highlight key areas for improvement as well as provide our recommendations on how best to make those improvements. These recommendations centered around facilitating communication between host institutions and F2F staff, increasing opportunities for capacity development and women’s participation, and assessing the project’s technical assistance and training needs.
